A marvellous premiere: The John Kerr Memorial Fund of the Association of European Lawyers (AEL) honours young attorneys-at-law. Josef Peer emerges as the first winner of this award.

In the spirit of the memorial fund’s name giver and dignitary, John Neilson Kerr, awarding the prize is based not only on professional qualification but also, and primarily, on social skills.

Simply excellent! manages to describe Josef Peer’s personality in a strikingly accurate manner and could not be righter when summarising the reasons for his nomination: “On the day I first met him, I could already tell that he is a passionate attorney-at-law; he serves not only jurisdiction but also justice and has the ability to consider a problem from different angles. His approach is based on out-of-the-box thinking and can be so innovative that it is simply excellent! He is never nervous and never loses his focus. He is down-to-earth, innovative, honest and supportive.”

Making it happen - an fwp claim that is more than sustainable where Josef Peer is concerned: He developed an app for the expansion of photovoltaic systems by providing location-based information on structural prerequisites and official approval requirements in Austria.”
