Vienna, November 2023. Fellner Wratzfeld & Partner (fwp) is hosting the "kunstakt" art project together with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna for the 19th time. This cooperation offers young artists an opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork in fwp’s Schottenring offices for one year. The current exhibition is entitled "Beziehungsweise".

The art project by fwp and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna has been forging links between law and art since 2005 and aims to provide young artists with a stage. Under this year's title "Beziehungsweise" eight artists have very personally and individually dealt with the current time and the questions it provokes. The exhibition demonstrates that art has always been one of the most effective instruments for dealing with complex issues, examining new perspectives and establishing unexplored connections. 

The official opening of the exhibition on 23 November 2023 not only offered fwp's clients an opportunity to look at this year's artwork but also to meet and talk to the artists behind the works in person. The diverse pieces of art have resulted from the different artistic approaches and will decorate fwp's offices for the coming year.

"We are pleased to implement the kunstakt in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna for as long as 19 years now. Law and art possess parallels, which are not visible at first sight but are brought to light by the exhibitions time and again", emphasises fwp partner Markus Fellner.

The curators of this year's exhibition are Veronika Dirnhofer and Philip Patkowitsch, both from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. "The kunstakt offers young artists not only a chance to present their works to a large new audience but also an opportunity to explain their works during the opening ceremony", says Dirnhofer at this year's vernissage. 

The exhibiting artists are Anna Anvidalfarei, Arang Choi, Ina Ebenberger, Maria Luise Ernst Hummer, Flora Franke, Nanna Kaiser, Gloria Pagliani and Paria Shahrestani. The exhibition was opened by Dr. Ingeborg Erhart, Vice-Rector for Art and Teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. fwp is very pleased by this year's artists and the opportunity to bring together law and art.
