The coronavirus pandemic has forced both employers and employees to adapt to a new normal in next to no time. In the spirit of social distancing, home office and short-time work have become fixtures in many people’s worklife in the past months and will probably remain so for some time. Constant developments in digitalisation, in particular in information and communication technology, also have a strong impact on how we work today, enabling many employees to organise their work in a more flexible manner.
