Getting legally started: fwp supports founding initiative of UAS Technikum Wien

11/30/2016

Fellner Wratzfeld & Partner Rechtsanwälte GmbH (fwp) supports the ‘Start me up’ founding initiative of FH Technikum Wien, Austria’s technical university of applied sciences. On 28 January 2017, fwp partners Markus Fellner and Lukas Flener will speak on ‘Getting legally started’ and answer legal questions around the subject of starting up a business.

‘You found a start-up company out of passion, and yet not only out of passion but also in order to earn money. And if one wishes to earn money, one must ask oneself how one can preserve and augment the money’, said fwp founding member Markus Fellner at the kick-off event organised by UAS Technikum Wien.

By supporting students and employees in pursuing their innovative business ideas, UAS Technikum Wien aims at promoting entrepreneurial spirit and integrating a culture of entrepreneurship into university life. The ‘Start me up’ initiative makes these endeavours visible: Since autumn, events and workshops around the subject have been held at UAS Technikum Wien. In the so-called ‘Start-up camp’, top experts tell their audience about the ins and outs of successfully starting up an enterprise. Furthermore, aspiring founders get support from mentors provided by UAS Technikum Wien.

One of Austria’s leading law firms in the area of business law will be available to answer questions around the foundation, structure and protection of start-up companies on Saturday, 28 January 2017: at the event dedicated to the motto ‘Getting legally started’, the legal experts are going to treat topics including choice of legal form, permits and licenses, government subsidies, financing options, dealings with investors, patents and trademarks, etc.
