fwp publishes first CSR report in line with GRI Standards

06/15/2020

In its recently published 2019 CSR report, Fellner Wratzfeld & Partner Rechtsanwälte (fwp) is the first Austrian law firm to present in a transparent way to the public its contributions towards a more sustainable society within the scope of its core business area.

fwp not only proves to have an inspiring foresight in terms of providing top quality legal advice. The law firm is actively seeking to fulfil its corporate responsibility towards the environment and society. fwp’s commitment encompasses social and environmental projects which contribute to maintaining future viability.

As the first major Austrian law firm, fwp is creating transparency around its contributions and activities on a voluntary basis: “Not only does our work within the scope of our business activity directly impact the people and the environment but our advising services with regard to commercial law also have an indirect impact and the way our company acts as part of society. Saving resources and making environmentally friendly choices are lasting values an increasing number of organisations - and we, too - commit themselves to”, says fwp partner Markus Fellner.

Our commitment is also reflected in the cooperation with the Austrian association in support of the blind and visually impaired (Hilfsgemeinschaft für Blinde und Sehschwache) and in the annual fwp vernissage ‘kunstakt’ which provides artists from the Academy of Fine Arts with a professional exhibition framework whose artwork is then presented to clients interested in art over the course of an entire year. Also the support of the project MIËLO, which encourages biodiversity in Austria, has been a matter of the heart at fwp since 2019.

Together with its stakeholders, the law firm is advocating for the environment and society as small steps can already have a big impact. Sustainability is and remains a key issue for fwp.
