Elisabeth Fischer-Schwarz (38) has been with fwp since September 2015 and has been practicing as an attorney since 2017. Her practice focuses on civil, corporate, and commercial law; banking law and financing; restructuring; as well as contract drafting and litigation.

Fischer-Schwarz advises banks, companies, and investors on complex commercial law matters with a particular focus on restructurings, financings, real estate projects, and corporate and civil law issues, and supports clients in strategically significant projects and transactions. In addition to her specialization in restructuring, she has many years of experience advising on civil and commercial law matters and representing clients in complex disputes. Her expertise is further evidenced by her work as an author and her repeated recommendations in international legal directories, including Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

A doctor of law, she completed her undergraduate studies and doctorate at the University of Vienna and spent time studying at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. Before joining fwp, she worked at a renowned Austrian commercial law firm, among other positions.

Florian Henöckl: Insolvency Law, Restructuring, and Capital Markets Restructuring

Florian Henöckl (35) has been with fwp since August 2021 and specializes in insolvency law, restructuring, and capital markets restructuring. He has extensive experience in handling complex reorganization and insolvency proceedings and advises companies, issuers, banks, and other stakeholders on both out-of-court and capital markets-related restructurings.

A particular focus of his work lies at the intersection of traditional insolvency law, financing, and capital market measures in the context of corporate reorganizations. Henöckl studied law at the Karl-Franzens University of Graz and passed his bar exam in 2020. Before joining fwp, he worked at several renowned Austrian commercial law firms, among others. His professional expertise is further underscored by his work as an author and speaker, as well as by his listings in international legal directories.
