Focus on sustainability

fwp promotes biodiversity and supports the parish of St. Stephen’s Cathedral.

Fellner Wratzfeld & Partners (fwp) continues to put an even stronger focus on sustainability. In addition to supporting the biodiversity project MIËLO, fwp donates a large amount of the acquired honey to the parish of St. Stephen’s Cathedral.

Sustainability is more than just a trend, it’s the future. Also the renowned business law firm fwp is aware of this fact and thus helps promoting the protection and preservation of biodiversity. “At fwp, we love legal challenges - and one of the greatest challenges our society is currently facing is the far-reaching loss of biodiversity with direct, negative consequences for the climate. This is why, as one of Austria’ most successful business law firms, we carry a responsibility not only towards our clients and employees but, before all, towards our environment”, explains fwp partner Markus Fellner and highlights: “Global warming, volatile water availability and changed stages of development of plants and animals are all consequences of climate change and endanger biological diversity.”

fwp is aware of its responsibility in this context and thus, since 2019, has been supporting the bee-friendly and sustainable honey production of MIËLO and, as its partner, helps promoting organically farmed meadows and farmland. The concept of sustainability reaches beyond the protection of the environment and biodiversity and also includes a sense of responsibility towards society. This is why each year fwp donates a part of the acquired MIËLO honey to the charity association Grow Together. Since March 2020, another recipient has been benefiting from a large amount of this liquid gold: With its donation to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, fwp is supporting Father Toni Faber with a number of social projects. “We thank fwp very much for this generous support. Thanks to this donation, on the one hand we now have an environmentally friendly gift for persons in need and on the other hand, sales proceeds from the sale of the honey will be donated to the parish’s Caritas section,” says Toni Faber.
