Since the beginning of the year 2022, new provisions on warranty are in force. In simple terms, a warranty is the seller's obligation, i.e. liability, to ensure that his product or service is free of defects at the time of delivery or performance. Warranty is independent of the type of product or whether a product was purchased online or offline. Sellers must therefore ensure that they sell functioning products or provide complete services. The seller is legally obligated to repair a defective product, exchange it, or refund the purchase price - at least partially.
