19/kunstakt - Handle with care

11/23/2018 - Reading time: 4 minutes

As every year, Fellner Wratzfeld & Partner (fwp) invited guests from the spheres of business, politics and law to this year’s ‘19/kunstakt’ exhibition to be dazzled by the artists’ creativity.

Under the motto ‘Handle with care’, this year’s exhibition was the 14th time in a row that Fellner Wratzfeld & Partner (fwp) offered numerous guests an opportunity to enjoy inspiring works of art. Nine artists from the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts presented their works at fwp’s premises on 22 November 2018. The exhibition was formally opened by Harald Krejci, head curator of the Belvedere. Some 200 guests from business, politics, and the legal professions followed fwp’s invitation to enjoy the exhibition of contemporary art in this exclusive setting.

Once again, the young artists aimed at creating works intended to inspire insights, discovery and discussion among onlookers amid the interplay between fwp as law firm, art and society as a whole. The artists approached this year’s motto of ‘Handle with care’ under the supervision of Professor Veronika Dirnhofer and Philip Patkowitsch (both from the Academy of Fine Arts). Professor Dirnhofer describes the intention behind this topic as follows: “As we live in times that one could describe as rather fragile and uncertain, a general ‘with care’ approach is necessary everywhere in an effort to positively impact, shape and strengthen the way we live together”.

‘We are proud of many years of giving young artists space and a platform for realising their conceptions and ideas and presenting their works to many interested clients and business partners not only during the grand opening but for an entire year. The kunstakt exhibition has become a project that is very close to the guests’ and fwp’s hearts`, said fwp partner Dr. Markus Fellner.

The works will be exhibited for a whole year on the law firm’s premises where they can also be purchased. They were contributed by the following artists: Elisa Alberti, Bugra Ates, Amoako Boafo, Luna Ghisetti, Christina Kroiss, Rudi Rapf, Aline Rainer and Marc Truckenbrodt.

The works of art will be exhibited on fwp's premises for one year and can be purchased.
