fwp was entrusted with advising Greentube Entertainment Solutions AG in connection with the participation of a new majority owner. Greentube specialises in the development of online skill games and is particularly well-known for its 3D game "Ski Challenge". The renowned company comprises more than 30 partner websites, servicing around ten million gamers worldwide. After several months of negotiations, Greentube found a strong and suitable partner for the share deal in Astra Games Limited and the Novomatic group.
The transaction, which involved several jurisdictions, was highly complex given the highly regulated character of the gambling sector. Partner Markus Fellner and Florian L. Kranebitter and their team structured the sale process for Greentube and provided counsel in the course of the comprehensive bidding process.
