“...und sah, dass sie einen Lippenstiftabdruck am Glasrand hinterlassen hatte, der in einem zarten Rosa sich mit dem Milchschaum vermischte.”
("...and saw that she had left lipstick marks on the rim of the glass which dissolved in the milk froth leaving a pale pink trace.”)
Drawing, collage
This work of art basically is a description of a fictional criminal person based on the traces the person leaves. It describes not only the notion of personal value a person attributes to an object, but also the effect an object has on a person, be it the owner or any other person. Not only the unspecific “offence”, i.e. various facts, is at the centre of attention, but also something in between which is invisible and yet even more important.

Damages, mistakes, slowness, irregularities … are irritations which, at the same time, also represent the particularity, the beauty and the intensity, which make life interesting ... which get things into motion and open room for dialogue. Small things are the essential and the origin of something big.
